Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Rod

The induction hardened chrome plated rod is a high-performance piston rod machined from CK45 / AISI 1045 and AISI 4140 / 42CrMo4. Induction hardening raises the surface hardness to HRC 55–60, greatly improving wear resistance and resisting frictional and impact loads, while the 25–30 µm hard chrome layer adds corrosion protection. It delivers stable operation under high pressure in hydraulic cylinders for excavators, mining equipment, cranes and heavy construction machinery.
