Excavator Hydraulic Piston Rods
Excavator boom, arm and bucket cylinders operate under heavy shock loads and abrasive conditions. XULI supplies hard chrome plated and induction hardened (HRC 55–60) piston rods in CK45, AISI 1045 and AISI 4140 / 42CrMo4, built to ISO 6020/2 for long service life on excavator hydraulic cylinders.
What the cylinder demands
An excavator rod is exposed with every stroke. Rocks and debris strike the surface, grit is dragged across the seals, and the boom, arm and bucket cylinders take repeated shock loads. A single dent or scratch in the chrome quickly becomes a leaking seal.
How XULI rods help
Induction hardening to HRC 55–60 gives the surface the dent resistance excavator cylinders need, while a CK45 or 42CrMo4 core keeps its toughness. A 20–30 µm hard chrome layer protects against corrosion, and straightness of ≤ 0.1 mm/m keeps long rods running true.
